The Call and The Cross Audio

Twenty four 20-minute talks by John McKay to support the course of Bible study contained in The Call and the Cross workbook. There is one talk for each week’s study.  The talks are recommended but optional, the study may be completed without them. The workbook and the associated reading guide are available from this shop (see below).

The talks are in MP3 format and downloaded as a single Zip file. You will need to extract the talks after you have downloaded them. Guidance on how to do this will be included in your confirmation email.

The Call and The Cross traces the story of the beginnings of God’s work of salvation down to the time of Moses, to discover how he taught those he chose to co-operate with him in the work, to see how he brought that work to fulfilment in Christ, and to learn how the early Christians understood it all. The books of the Bible you will be studying are therefore the early ones that tell about Israel’s beginnings (Genesis to Deuteronomy), plus Mark and two epistles that show how Christians interpreted them (Romans and Hebrews).
