The Heirs of the Prophets Bible reading guide is the third of four volumes that together form a guide to the whole Bible, seen through the activity and experience of the Holy Spirit. This third volume examines the experiences and teachings of prophets and other people of the Spirit in the Bible, demonstrating how their faith and vision are of the very essence of both biblical and present-day Christianity. The Old Testament section covers the prophet stories in 1 Samuel to 2 Kings and the prophetic books from Isaiah to Malachi (not including Jonah and Daniel). The New Testament section pursues the story through Luke’s Gospel, selections from Acts and the Epistles, and Revelation.
